The original car was unveiled at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show , we saw the FT-86 II this year at the Geneva Motor Show , along with the chassis and powertrain of its Subaru counterpart , we then saw the Scion interpretation at the New York Auto Show , and finally, a slightly revised version of the car is on display here in Frankfurt . Can we please just drive the thing already? By the time it gets to market, it’s going to arrive with a mid-cycle refresh! Toyota says that the car on display here at the Frankfurt Messe is “lighter, faster and sportier” than the concept cars that came before it, but aside from the new orange paint job, the only noticeable difference we can see are a pair of red Brembo brake calipers behind those alloy wheels. Nifty. Still, we never turn down a chance to eyeball the FT-86, and we encourage you to do the same in our attached high-res image gallery.
